Stamford, CT, October 7, 2025 ReferWell, the leading scheduling platform that removes friction from the healthcare experience by making it simple, seamless and consumer-friendly, today announced the appointment of accomplished health care and industry trade association executive Charles Steller to its Board of Directors. He brings to the position more than 40 years of experience in health and hospital administration, association management, and organizational leadership.

“Our executive leadership team is thrilled to welcome Charles Stellar to ReferWell’s Board of Directors and look forward to leveraging his deep sector and management expertise as we evolve our strategic vision for the organization moving forward,” said Kevin M. Healy, CEO of ReferWell. “As a company, we believe that ReferWell is at a critical inflection point, as our work to improve the referral process, elevate how members engage with their healthcare, and ultimately access care continues to grow. Charles’ decades of health care experience coupled with his strong business acumen should prove critical in our efforts.”

Most recently, Stellar served as the President and CEO of WEDI, the preeminent national membership association for health IT guidance and collaboration, where he proved instrumental in strengthening the organization’s role as an advisor to the Department of Health and Human Services, promoting innovative data exchange solutions, helping shape health IT standards, and advancing interoperability and the adoption of value-based care principles. His responsibilities included overseeing member services related to positioning the association and its diverse membership to a variety of national, state, and local audiences.

“Throughout my career my focus has been building bridges between Health Plans | Payers and providers, public and private sectors, and policy and practice. That same spirit of collaboration will guide me as I support organizations like ReferWell driving meaningful and sustainable change in healthcare,” said Charles Steller. “I am energized by the opportunity to help mission-driven companies translate vision into execution and achieve measurable impact. I am honored to be serving on the Board of ReferWell with such an important mission focused on making healthcare easier and more accessible.”
